Our escrow-based system protects every transaction. Here's how returns and refunds work on TCG Marketplace.
Escrow Buyer Protection
Every marketplace and auction payment is held in escrow by TCG Marketplace. Funds are only released to the seller 72 hours after the buyer confirms delivery. If there is a problem with your order, you have the opportunity to file a dispute before confirming receipt.
Refund Eligibility
Item Not Received
If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery window and tracking shows no delivery, you may request a full refund from escrow.
Item Significantly Not as Described
If the card or product you receive is materially different from the listing description (e.g., wrong card, wrong condition, or counterfeit), you are eligible for a full refund. You may be required to return the item at the seller's expense.
Damaged in Transit
If the item arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging, you may file a dispute for a full or partial refund. Please provide photos of the damaged item and packaging.
Change of Mind
Refunds are not available for change of mind, buyer's remorse, or minor condition disagreements that fall within the listing's stated grade. All sales are considered final once the buyer confirms delivery.
How to Request a Refund
Open a Dispute
Before confirming delivery, navigate to your order and select "Report a Problem" to open a dispute.
Provide Evidence
Upload photos and a detailed description of the issue. Our team reviews all disputes within 2 business days.
Resolution
If approved, a refund is issued from escrow to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Important Timelines
Dispute Window
Disputes must be filed before confirming delivery. Once delivery is confirmed, funds enter the 72-hour escrow hold and cannot be disputed through the platform.
Escrow Release
Funds are released to the seller 72 hours after delivery confirmation, provided no dispute has been filed.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
Auctions & Trades
Auctions
Auction purchases follow the same escrow and refund process as marketplace orders. Winning bids are binding, and the same dispute and refund eligibility applies.
Trades
Since trades do not involve monetary transactions through the platform, they are not eligible for financial refunds. If you experience an issue with a trade, please contact our support team for assistance.
Abuse of Refund Policy
Filing false disputes or abusing the refund system may result in account suspension or permanent ban. TCG Marketplace reserves the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent.
