Buying
How do I purchase a card?
Browse the marketplace or storefront, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Payments are processed securely and funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed.
Is my payment protected?
Yes. All marketplace and auction payments go through our escrow system. Funds are held for 72 hours after the buyer confirms delivery before being released to the seller.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.
Selling
How do I list a card for sale?
Navigate to "Sell Your Cards" from the marketplace menu, fill in the card details, set your price, and publish. You must be a verified seller to create listings.
What fees does TCG Marketplace charge?
We charge a 7.5% platform fee on all marketplace listings and auction sales. There is no fee for trades.
When do I get paid?
Seller payouts are released 72 hours after the buyer confirms delivery. The payout amount is your sale price minus the 7.5% platform fee.
Auctions
How do auctions work?
Verified sellers can create timed auctions. Bidders place bids, and the highest bidder at the end of the auction wins. A 7.5% platform fee applies to the final sale price.
Can I retract a bid?
Bids are binding. Please ensure you are comfortable with your bid amount before placing it. If you have a genuine issue, contact our support team.
What happens when I win an auction?
You will be notified and prompted to complete payment. The seller will then ship the item, and funds are held in escrow until you confirm receipt.
Trading
How do trades work?
Create a trade offer specifying the cards you want to offer and the cards you are looking for. When another user accepts, both parties ship their cards to complete the trade.
Are there fees for trading?
No. TCG Marketplace does not charge any fees on trades between users.
What if my trade partner doesn't ship?
Contact our support team at support@tcgmarketplace.store. We investigate all disputes and take appropriate action, including account suspension for non-compliance.
Accounts & Verification
Do I need to verify my identity?
Verification is required to sell cards or create auctions. Buyers and traders can use the platform without verification.
How long does verification take?
Verification is typically reviewed within 1–2 business days after submitting your documents.
What documents are required?
A valid government-issued photo ID (front and back) and a selfie holding the ID. All documents are encrypted and stored securely.
Payments & Escrow
What is the escrow system?
Escrow protects both buyers and sellers. When a buyer pays, funds are held securely by TCG Marketplace. After the buyer confirms delivery, funds are held for an additional 72 hours before being released to the seller.
What happens if I don't receive my item?
If you do not receive your item, file a dispute before confirming delivery. Our team will investigate and issue a refund from escrow if appropriate.
Safety & Security
How does TCG Marketplace protect my data?
We use industry-standard encryption, secure HTTP-only cookies, and CSRF protection. Your personal information is never shared with other users. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I report a suspicious listing?
Use the report button on any listing or contact support@tcgmarketplace.store. We review all reports promptly and remove listings that violate our policies.
